Our site contains information about Indian Women Scientists’ Association (IWSA), as well as the programs we conduct, for example but not limited to science exhibitions, special events (XV TRIENNIAL & III INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF IWSA), courses, workshops, trainings etc. The site also has information about our facilities which are open to society.

Payment terms

Payments for our programs will be shown on the appropriate information page on our site, and in any form of advertisement made by us. We try our very best to display accurate amounts for our events, but take no responsibility if we have mistakenly shown an incorrect amount. If any of the amounts are inaccurate on our registering page, we will contact all customers who have registered for that event. You will either be offered to pay the difference or redeem a full refund. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience.

Payments for an event listed on our website means you acknowledge and accept our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right, without disclosing reason, to refuse payments from any person we deem not to be suitable for the event.

You can pay for one person at a time. If you choose to pay for other people, you agree to these Terms & Conditions on their behalf.

Cancellations

  • We do not give refunds and we do not issue people with a credit that can be used at a later date.
  • We are however happy to transfer your registration for the same event/course to someone else. Please email us with the name and email address of the person you are transferring your payment to no less than 24 hours before the event and we can arrange that for you.
  • Please note than the schedule for the event can change at any time. We will keep you informed about the same.

Age restriction

The XV TRIENNIAL & III INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF IWSA, is open for all adults only.

Legality

This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian law, and any disputes relating to this policy or Indian Women Scientists’ Association

(IWSA) events will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, India. If a section of this policy is determined by any court or other competent authority to be unlawful and/or unenforceable, the other sections of this policy continue in effect.
